Cosmetics Fragrance Direct is proud to announce their support of 'It's Friday! Think Pink', an initiative by the Think Pink Foundation. This wonderful foundation works tirelessly to raise much needed funds for breast cancer research. The Think Pink Foundation has invited its supporters to wear something pink on the last Friday of every month to show that they care. A splash of pink and a gold coin donation go a long way to support those affected by breast cancer.
Most people know someone who has suffered from breast cancer... whether it be a mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, wife, friend or girlfriend, breast cancer can affect the people we love. Sadly, one in nine Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and although rare, men can also suffer from this disease. The money raised by the Think Pink Foundation provides direct support to those directly impacted. Since 2002, this wonderful foundation has raised over $1,000,000 to be used for a Cancer Information and Support Service for breast cancer patients.
Donations can be made in any Cosmetics Fragrance Direct store on 30th November, the first Think Pink Friday. Don't forget to don a pink item of clothing to help spread the word!
