Exercising is a popular choice for New Year's resolutions, but it is one of the most difficult to maintain. For all of those gym junkies who are aiming to continue their healthy habits, or, if keeping fit is a top priority for 2013, why not make it as easy as possible for yourself. Before heading off to work up a sweat, make sure you have all of the essentials in your gym bag to avoid tricky and ah... sticky, situations.
Keep fresh by always including an antiperspirant in your gym bag. Some make the mistake of using a perfumed body spray rather than an antiperspirant deodorant but these products don't combat the odour causing bacteria. Another essential to keep you smelling sweet is to include an atomiser of your favourite fragrance.
A compact mirror is necessary along with a small makeup bag filled with the basics. Life is getting busier and busier so if you have plans post work-out have a quick shower at the gym and pack a concealer, foundation stick, lip balm and mascara to be perfectly polished in a flash! Take a towel, a change of clothes, a hairbrush and a snack to make working out as easy as possible. Give your hair a quick brush and gather it on top of your head into a ballerina bun, this looks more stylish than a pony-tail. A spritz of dry shampoo does wonders to help mask the tell-tale signs of a work-out.
