Iconic fashion designer, Giorgio Armani was born in 1934 in Italy. Armani is one of the most interesting characters in the fashion world. After leaving school, he studied medicine before entering the army.
His next move was to become a decorator for stores, after this, he began his fashion career by working for Nino Cerutti. In 1974, he and Sergo Galleotti created a fashion house specialising in men’s clothes for modern gentlemen. In 1975, the team launched their women’s collection. In 1981, the sports lines, Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans were launched.
The world of Armani fashion is effortlessly cool, laid back, yet impossibly chic. In 1996, the best selling men’s fragrance Acqua di Gio was released into the world of fine fragrances. Since then, Armani has released a string of highly successful fragrances that have been loved by men and women worldwide.
