If you have not experienced Valentino, you have not experienced true luxe.
The man behind the brand, Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavnini was born on May 11, 1932 and has well and truly earned his God-like status in the fashion world. He had an interest in fashion from a young age and travelled from northern Italy to Paris to pursue his passion. He studied at École des Beaux-Arts and worked as an apprentice under Jacques Faith, then Balenciaga. As his experience began to grow, he started working for Guy Laroche for two years.
His major breakthrough came about following a knock-out collection in 1962 in Florence. Quickly afterwards the world’s most gorgeous fashion icons were seen donning Valentino’s pieces, such as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Marisa Berenson.
In 1978, the label released its first signature fragrance. Today, Valentino has made 20 swoon-worthy fragrances for both men and women. Valentino are masters of capturing sweet innocence with a dash of feminine sensuality and a splash of dreaminess. Try the Valentina range for unparalleled elegance.
