Giorgio Beverly Hills

Founded by Fred Hayman and George Grant, Giorgio Beverly Hills opened their women’s fashion boutique in 1961 on the infamous Rodeo Drive. The store, styled with a signature yellow-and-white striped awning came to symbolise the Beverly Hills lifestyle. The store had a reading room, pool table and oak bar, so that men could amuse themselves while the women shopped. Catering to an array of rich and famous clientele including Natalie Wood, Princess Grace, Ronald Reagan and Diana Ross. In 1981 the signature fragrance, Giorgio, was launched with an opulent launch party by Fred Hayman’s wife. Since then, the fragrance line has grown to include Wings, G by Giorgio, Giorgio Aire, and Giorgio Blue, all embodying the glamour of Californian style.
