The fashion house Jacques Bogart was founded in 1975 in France by menswear designer, Jacques Konickier who worked under the pseudonym of Jacques Bogart.

Jacques Bogart burst onto the fragrance scene in 1975 with his fragrance, Bogart. Since then he has released 14 fragrances, all designed for men. One of the most popular of these fragrances is Silver Scent, released in 2006. The deep oriental woody fragrance is accented with notes of orange blossom and lemon, rosemary, nutmeg, coriander, lavender, geranium and cardamom. Its rich base consists of litchi, tonka bean, teak wood and vetiver.

Bogart Pour Homme is another popular, inexpensive fragrance by this design house. It was launched in 2004 and was created by fragrance master-minds, Maurice Roucel and Norbert Bijaoui. Notes of lavender, bergamot, orange blossom, lily of the valley, rose and tonka bean combine to create a delightful and masculine scent.
