Wolfgang Joop was born in Germany, 1944. As a young man, Joop began to practice his passion for fashion and at the age of 37, he launched and developed the fashion house, JOOP! A menswear brand.

Initially only manufacturing men’s fashion, JOOP! made their first entry into the fragrance universe with the release of JOOP! Femme and JOOP! Homme, in 1987.
