Inspired by the innovative arctic exploration, research and protection initiative of the same name, Azzaro’s Chrome Under The Pole is a burst of cold freshness for your everyday. The top notes are of bergamot, lemon and neroli for a fresh opening, paired with more subtle notes of rosemary and pineapple for a herby-sweet element, continued in the middle notes of cyclamen and jasmine flowers, and coriander and moss. This is countered by the strong woody notes of the base, which include sandalwood, cedar, oakmoss and rosewood, as well as musk, cardamom and slightly sweet tonka bean. Citrus and fresh without being sweet, there is also a subtle floral element over the deeper base scents of wood and herbs. Inspired by its aquatic essence, this perfume is entirely alcohol-free, using water instead.
