Jimmy Choo was born in Maylasia, 1961 and designs some of the world’s most swoon worthy shoes using secrets he learnt from his father who was also a cobbler and a skilful craftsman. In the late 80s Choo opened up his first store in Hackney. Within 2 years he had a loyal celebrity following and an 8 page feature in Vogue. One of his most devout clients was the effortlessly stylish Princess Diana. In the early days of the company’s development, Choo was making 20 hand-made shoes per week, however, this quickly expanded as he contracted with Italian factories.
The company’s debut and self-titled fragrance was released by Jimmy Choo in 2011. Described as “a dazzling aura of glittering femininity”, this fragrance is unique and gorgeously indulgent. It is a modern floral with a fruity flare and a rich, woody base, dedicated to confident and playful women.
The world of Jimmy Choo is one of luxury and meticulous craftsmanship to ensure top quality is achieved.
