Invest & Insist on using decent couriers. Sendle, Couriers Please etc no longer deliver to central Sydney residential buildings and have no customer service or support centres anymore. They ceased delivering to each building I’ve lived in since approximately 2018.
1) the ‘sorry we just missed you’ messages received when you work from home full time are enraging!
2) I actually pay for a delivery! But I am still expected to pay more on top and get an uber (which is bloody expensive if there is a big package or I don’t have the time to be away from work or am not feeling well - and Uber drivers are not paid to wait for you whilst the collection point spend 20 minutes looking for you package from the other day, so they often leave - requiring you to pay for another one!) or if I have the time, a bus on a 40 degree day is an awesome experience, or I use petrol to drive to my collection point because it isn’t close - and all this just because of some lazy couriers who can’t be bothered to stop.
Because of this I no longer order anything from companies who use Couriers Please or hide behind Sendle. The difficulty picking up is not worth the order I placed… Most good companies know all about Couriers Please and I receive responses to my query, prior to placing any order saying - no, after extensive customer complaints we no longer use Couriers Please.
So until you get with the program, and start using decent couriers like a real professional business - I can’t buy from Dick Smith or you anymore which is sad because I am actively trying to support Aussie companies.
