Richard Malouf inducted into Fragrance Foundation's Hall of Fame - Cosmetics Fragrance Direct

Richard Malouf, Managing Director of Malouf Pharmacies was inducted into the Fragrance Foundation Australia’s Hall of Fame on Thursday 1st September 2011. To celebrate the induction of the 4th Hall of Fame recipient, the Fragrance Foundation recognised Mr. Malouf’s significant contribution to the Australian fragrance industry with a cocktail event held at the Art Gallery of NSW.

The Fragrance Foundation’s bi-annual Hall of Fame award recognises the achievement and dedication of an individual who has had a distinguished career in fragrance, and has made an outstanding contribution to the Australian fragrance industry. The ceremony, hosted by the Fragrance Foundation President Michel-Henri Carriol, was attended by over 80 guests including Fragrance Foundation members, sponsors and beauty media.

Richard Malouf is the fourth inductee to enter the Hall of Fame, joining a prestigious group of recipients including Trish Hale, fragrance marketer and retail buyer for Grace Bros and David Jones, Bernard Leser, founder of Vogue Australia and Chairman and Managing Director of Condé Nast Asia Pacific, and Michael Edwards, international fragrance author and FiFi Award winner.

Fragrance Foundation president, Michel-Henri Carriol praised Mr. Malouf for his ongoing contribution to the fragrance industry: “Richard Malouf is an extremely hardworking and dedicated individual. He is greatly respected within the industry and enjoys a fantastic relationship with many fragrance houses. The Fragrance Foundation is thrilled to present Richard with this honour for his consistent support to the fragrance industry,” said Mr Carriol.
