Burt’s Bees began in 1984 in Maine, United States when Roxanne Quimby and Burt Shavitz, co-founders of Burt’s Bees , sold handmade honey candles at craft fairs.

Quickly, their small business escalated and in 1991 they expanded their range of products to include natural beeswax soaps, perfumes, baby products, anti-aging products and lip balms. Now, Burt’s Bees has beautiful and natural products ranging from sun care to body wash.
