Issey Miyake’s L'Eau Bleue D'Issey for men is a masterpiece of carefully balanced and uplifting notes. Despite the colour of the bottle, this fragrance leans more towards green than blue, with strong woody notes and touches of spice and citrus. The fragrance is built with base notes of cedar, sandalwood and amber with added patchouli and oakmoss for a touch of greenness further elevated with middle notes of strong cypress pine, lavender, ginger and juniper berries, as well as more subtle pink pepper and florals. The top notes are fresh lime, orange, and lemongrass, as well as a strong note of herbaceous rosemary.  This fragrance is beautifully aromatic, green and fresh, with woody and herbaceous undertones.
