The Greased Lightning is burning up the quarter mile in Brisbane this month for a series of shows at QPAC. Along with the songs that we all know and love, this new take on a much-loved production has reminded me of the makeup and fashion trends that go hand-in-hand with this musical favourite.

She has since released hit after hit and in 2011 produced her sixth studio album. The exotic beauty exudes sex appeal and star quality. Rihanna is a feisty songstress, yet manages to maintain grace and poise beyond her years.

Excitement is building for the High Tea Party in November at the Sydney Hilton. Due to popular demand this event sold out months in advance and is set to be yet another glorious event for the ladies of Sydney to indulge.

I had the pleasure of chatting to Linda Kachel, the manager of the Brisbane city store. Linda exudes an infectious enthusiasm for the beauty industry and makes each customer feel special.

One of my all-time favourite brands is Essie and it has become my go-to nail polish. A trustworthy formula that lasts for days and an extensive range of colours is hard to come by but Essie manages to tick both of those boxes with ease. Fragrances last longer on different people due to the differences in skin type and the skin's pH levels. Fragrances are generally better preserved on oilier skin so if you have dry skin, you may find that applying a small amount of moisturiser before application will help to hold your fragrance. You can also help extend your fragrance by practicing layering. Using a moisturiser or bath gel of the matching scent before applying your fragrance will provide a longer lasting effect.

In recent newspaper reports, Target have agreed to pay Estée Lauder $1 million for damages, profits, interest and costs as a result of Target selling MAC branded product that was not proven to be not fake. MAC had not sold these items to Target.
